Marching and Concert Band
The band program prides itself on enhancing the spiritual mission at St. Joseph High School while providing quality instruction to the students. The band has performed at major bowl games such as the Holiday Bowl, Gator Bowl, and Cotton Bowl. The band performs at many campus, and community activities. In addition, to really putting on a show at half time, the Flyer Marching Band fires up the crowd with a rich repertoire of stands music that sports a variety of music from hip hop, rock, classic rock, and big band tunes. The band has been featured at community events such as the United Way Fund Kick Off, and the National Night Out Kick Off. When the roar of the crowd dies down after an exciting fall, STJ begins to hear the sounds of the Concert Band, and Flyer Jam Band. The Fly Jam performs Jazz, Pop, and Big Band sounds that really attract a crowd.
