Jubilee AuctionJubilee 2011 was a SUCCESS! For the past 136 years, the Kentucky Derby has been called the “Greatest Two Minutes in Sports”. Last spring, you didn’t have to travel to Churchill Downs to experience the glamour and celebration of “Derby Day”! The St. Joseph High School Jubilee Auction fundraiser Derby for Dreams was held on May 6, 2011, at the Spring Creek Place Event Center. The Flyers made a “run for the roses” in support of the St. Joseph High School Scholarship Fund which assistants 50% of the STJ student body. STJ students are “gold trophies” and our generous “champions” supported them by coming to the St. Joseph High School Derby for Dreams grant fundraiser. With the Derby theme came Mint Juleps, Gourmet Dining by John Welder’s Alimento Catering and Dancing to the tune of the Brent Van Sickle Orchestra. Live and Silent Auctions, as well as racing games made the night exciting and successful! Derby hats were donned by men, and women alike, and were a fantastic back drop for the Derby for Dreams. Save the Date: 2012 Jubilee Auction Friday, May 4th
More information to come in the spring of 2012.
