St. Joseph High School Choirs
The choir program at St. Joseph High School is under the direction of Michael Petrisky. The level of instruction meets students at their musical level offering training, and advanced levels of choral music. The choirs have a rich tradition of excellence, and service. Annual concerts at Christmas, Prelude Advent Music, The STJ Family Festival, Open House, and Spring are a few of the performance opportunities offered to the students. Leadership is a big part of the STJ Choirs. Each organization elects officers to help govern, and serve fellow choir members. Competitive events are offered to advancing students through TPSMEA All-State Choir Auditions, Regional & State Solo Contests, Concert & Sightreading Contests, and Festivals. 2009-2010 includes a trip to Colorado Springs for the Pikes Peak Cavalcade of Music Festival.
