Here is why our students love STJ!

Jacob Bordovsky

At STJ I’ve never had to sacrifice academics for the sake of competitive athletics. I am in an environment in which my teachers, coaches, and staff are dedicated to my success, and whose job it is to ensure that I am prepared for the next chapter of my life. The sense of family at STJ is unparalleled and is by far the best place to prepare for college. -- Jacob Bordovsky, Class of 2020

D'Ary Patton

Since the first day of my junior year when I transferred to STJ, I have felt at home. Everyone is nice and open, and teachers and students have helped me along the way. It’s like a family here and St. Joseph has shaped me into a man and a student. I won a state title in track for shotput and earned my first scholarship to Texas Southern University for football. I feel great achieving these milestones; it makes me proud. It feels amazing to be able to change your life within two years, and it wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the St. Joseph family. - D’Ary Patton, Class of 2020

Lexie Garza

As a senior in high school, I look back thinking it all went by so fast. I really did “love the journey!” Next year, in the Fall, I’ll be attending my first choice college, the University of the Incarnate Word, with over $80,000 in scholarships. That was all made possible by St. Joseph’s stressed importance of GPA, SAT scores and service hours toward the community. I also learned how to balance my grades while playing sports, being a part of clubs, and having a social life. I’m so thankful of how well St. Joseph has prepared me not only for college, but the world.  - Lexie Garza, Class of 2020

A word from our STJ parents.

"We are so grateful that we were able to enroll our daughter at STJ. Everyone at the school has been so welcoming and helpful. We were encouraged by one of her 8th grade teachers to apply for an academic scholarship at STJ.  She took the test and went through the interview process and was one of five scholarship recipients. Having left Catholic school with our move, we missed the closeness and family feel of Catholic school as well as the focus on values, morals and academics. We were convinced STJ was the place for us when we toured the school and met with administrators. I would highly recommend STJ to anyone in Victoria who is on the fence about sending their child to a Catholic school." Richard and Denise McKinney, STJ Parents

"Since transferring to St. Joseph, we have noticed a great difference in our son.  He loves the school and often says to us that this was the best decision we made for him.  We have seen his grades improve tremendously as well as his passion for service.  We were not sure what to expect with this move, but the support structure that St. Joseph’s faculty and staff offers your child is second to none.  I would highly recommend anyone to visit St Joseph to see what they have to offer.  You will be very pleased with the St. Joseph family." Deidrick and Linda Miller, STJ Parents
